Home Theater & Media Rooms in Lake Naomi
A-frames and great rooms with cathedral ceilings are everywhere in the Poconos, and they are genuinely difficult rooms for sound — hard surfaces, tall volumes, and a fireplace usually sitting exactly where the center channel wants to go. These rooms reward a real design and punish a guessed one.
Lakefront and club communities
The rooms in these houses are beautiful and acoustically difficult: cathedral ceilings, stone fireplaces, hard wood surfaces, and a wall of glass. Sound behaves badly in them. We adapt the Atmos layout to the actual ceiling slope, put absorption where it does the most good without changing how the room looks, and work around the fireplace rather than pretending it is not where the center channel belongs.
Local conditions
What this looks like in Lake Naomi.
The housing here
Heavy on cedar, stone, and cathedral ceilings, with the good glass pointed at the water. Those are hard rooms for sound and hard walls to fish, so we plan runs before anyone opens a ceiling.
Connectivity
Coverage inside the house is usually fine and coverage at the dock usually is not. Getting a reliable signal to the water almost always means a buried run to an outdoor access point rather than another repeater.
Why owners here buy it
The dock and the deck are the point of owning here. Most of what we install at Lake Naomi is aimed outward — audio down to the water, lighting on the path, and shades on the glass that makes the view worth having.

Do you install home theater & media rooms in Lake Naomi?
Yes. Lake Naomi is part of our regular service area and we work throughout Monroe County, including Lake Naomi Club & Timber Trails, Sunset Point, Beach Club area. We are based in Pocono Pines, so this is work we do ourselves rather than subcontract.
Projector or a big TV?
A TV for any room with daylight — the picture is brighter and the ceiling in a lake house is rarely where a projector wants to be. Projection wins in a dedicated, light-controlled room at about 110 inches and up.
Can you mount a TV over the fireplace?
Sometimes. Above a working fireplace we measure mantel heat first, and we will tell you when the viewing angle is going to hurt your neck. A pull-down mount solves both problems when the wall is the only option.
